How we work

Step 1: You buy the item that best suits your needs. 

Step 2: You will receive an email with the # order number from the system. 

Step 3: Send the documentation to be included in an email to hello@melisalopeztranslations.com with the following details:

  • Order number.
  • The documents you need to translate attached.
  • Full name.
  • E-mail address .
  • Delivery time required: Standard or Express (with an additional 15% charge payable separately).

Delivery time

The delivery time standard is between 2 and 4 working days after receipt of confirmation and proof of payment. Orders received out of hours labour shall be processed at next working day.

Urgent/Express delivery time

Se will charge an additional 15% if emergency service is required within 24/48 working hours of receipt of confirmation payment.

Form of Delivery

Translations are sent in digital format with digital signature valid for submission to the relevant agencies. If you also require a physical copy, you can notify us at the start of the work or with the digital delivery to coordinate the details.

What is NAATI?

NAATI is the authority in Australia that accredits translators and interpreters and ensures professional competence, ethics and quality.

Ln Australia, official bodies only accept translations with a NAATI stamp, because they ensure the accuracy and reliability of the document.

What is a certified or certified translation?

Aome documents that are more than just paperworka birth certificate certifies that a person was born in a particular place, on a particular date and under particular conditions; a marriage certificate constitutes a marital partnership with legal implications. 

A certified, public or NAATI stamped translation converts a simple translation into an official document that has the same validity as the original, but in another language.

Frequently asked questions

What is the method of payment?

We request a 50% with the confirmation of the translation and the balance on delivery. We accept bank transfers in (Australia or Argentina), debit and credit cards, PayPal, Wise.

How long does it take to deliver the translation?

Lor as soon as we can. The delivery date depends on the type of translation, the length of the document, among other factors. In general, we deliver between 2 and 4 working days after receipt of the confirmation payment.

Can you translate my documents URGENTLY?

Yes. We put your need at the top of the list with a additional cost of 15 % over the price of the original quotation.

 

Do translations have an expiry date?

No. Certified translations do not expire. The certified translator's stamp has an expiry date, as the translator must maintain continuous professional development and the licence is renewed every three years. However, this does not affect the validity of the translation.

Can you send me the translation by post?

Yes, we deliver by post throughout Australia. The cost is not included in the price of the service and varies depending on your address. Please note that we always send the digital copy by email first to confirm that the information is correct.

Are the translations valid throughout Australia?

Yes, all our translations comply with Australian national standards. Each NAATI translator we work with has their signature and stamp registered with government and professional bodies to guarantee the validity of your translations.

Is information kept confidential?

Of course. According to the Code of Ethics of the Australian Association of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT), the Australian Association of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT) has a Code of Ethics that states that the following are required by law Australian Institute of Interpreters & Translators), we professional translators are obliged to protect the privacy of our clients, just as doctors or lawyers do.

Are the digital stamp and the ink stamp valid in the same way?

Yes, both have the same legal validity. Our NAATI translators are authorised to use digital and ink stamps.

After the NAATI seal, is any additional legalisation or certification required?

No. The NAATI stamp converts the translation into a final document and ready to be presented with any official body in Australia.
